One of those reoccurring suggestions, as an option (if its even possible) I don't see why not. Problem is the difference in unit strengths and costs in terms of strategy, which is where the coding would probably be too complex to have a viable solution that doesnt wreck the game meta.

People could abuse and players on the opposite end would rage. They could be fighting a war and an ally who's been sitting and doing nothing but building troops can give away his units he built and next thing you know the guy who was losing with only 2 units left suddenly has 350 units and completely flips the tide of the war. People will just call bs and quit

That would be easily exploitable.
