Haha interesting video, too bad there are no subtitles for non-slavs to understand. Guy on the left said English, Americans and Russians are on their side (WW2 era), enemies are Germans, Italians and other fascists. Guy on the right ask what about the Turks, guy on the left reply Turks didn't join the war, the other guy is surprised that is possible, and says then it is yet not dangerous conflict, until Turks join the fight. Understood the language, but not the dialect, could be Serbian, Montenegrin or Macedonian peasants, so if that's WW2 (fascists mentioned) that mean last war with Turks was 30 years ago (Balkan War) and guy on the right still remember because he probably fought (was young, eligible for military service), he said Turks are dangerous so probably he fought them, and that's why he's surprised now that Turks didn't join the war. No seriously why Turkey didn't join the war on Axis side? They were allied to Germany in WW1. Sure it wasn't the multikulti empire anymore, but nationalist republic, but still. German panzers rolling from East Turkey into Middle East and Caucasus would paint a different picture of WW2 we know.

Same for Sweden they sold materials to Nazis Hitler gave us planes, tanks, weapons etc. for join his side same for UK and Soviets thanks for them we could build a good modern army Btw: We joined Allies before war end Also: THE EXAMPLE OF GOOD NEIGHBOURING IN HARD TIMES: AIDS FROM TURKEY TO GREECE IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR ABSTRACT Greece faced some crucial difficulties in World War II, especially after German occupation. Greece, who normally had to import most of its food necessities, could not realize its initiative due to this occupation. Furthermore, adverse winter conditions and decreasing agricultural activities in Greece brought about a very significant problem called "The Great Famine". Turkey was one of the first countries that helped Greece. Particularly the Red Crescent dispatched foodstuff and sanitary products at that time. Besides, the Red Crescent, some other firms and organizations played an important role in assisting Greece. Turkey supported Greece from the beginning of the Great Famine and its assistance continued until the end of the war. It was a nationwide relief effort, Turkey simply provided the ships since it was nearby, and in reality it was only symbolic since for the better part of the war only a single ship was moving supplies. Also this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Varl%C4%B1k_Vergisi

Yeah i remember i studied that back in my days. Inonu (protege of Ataturk) wanted to normalize relations with Greece(as Ataturk planned) as Turkey became republic and cut all ties with the Ottoman Empire. So he sent medicine and food to Greece. Deserves commendation. Though in my opinion it was too soon, it was long-term plan of Ataturk to normalize relations so he can modernize Turkey as fast as possible. Turkey have to proclaim Ataturk a god, because if not for him, Turkey would be like Afghanistan today. He did so much for Turkey. Just like we have Putin, Putin for Russia is what Ataturk is for Turkey. If not for Putin, Russia would be third world American colony today, and not a superpower.
