How do you increase your rank/ reputation

I have searched on the FAQ and some other places, but it has never talked about how you go about increasing/ decreasing your Rank and Reputation, so, how does one go about doing this?

Win games to earn Strategy Points, or SP and your rank increases based on the amount of sp you have. Reputation is just when people are amazed at your skill so they rep you. Of course you could just farm the reps so its not a very trusted ranker.

To get your rank up you have to get sp, you get sp by playing games. To get your reputation up you have to get people to click on your name and click +rep.
