If I desconected of a casual match I'll lost my progress?

I was in diferents types of games (including the casual game) and when I go out of the match if I come back later I lost the progress (logic). But in a casual game it doesen't sens that it worked at this way (You must hold on your computer ALL the day and that is crazy). So this is my problem, now I'm in a casual game and I'm scared that if I desconect my progress would be deleted.
I know that must be a way to play and them desconect whitout problem (because my mates made it) but I don't know how.

So I hope that someone solve my problem quickly cause meanwhile my computer will stay on.

Before leaving the casual game, did you click End Turn? And did you see something like, 'You will receive an emil notification when the next turn starts?' After that, did you leave the game by clicking on Exit and then click on Go To Lobby? If you hit any other buttons, like Abandon or Surrender, then you will leave the game (I'm sure you know this already).

Aside from these things, I can't think of another reason you would've lost your progress.
