Anatolia was a long and irreversible process spanning many centuries, it's a sad conclusion but nothing can be done about it and it's understandable that at the time it happened it was nothing too unusual. Afrin happened this year when supposedly civilised countries have gotten over such behaviours.

Don't be sad, you should actually be quite thankful that Erdogan played cunt and tried to antagonize an unpredictible and blunt US President. Thanks to him your currency will be in decline or stabilize at the point you're at right now, which will mean Turkey will be either a) Slut-Injected with shady Russian deals (nuclear plants as of now) and massive amounts of Chinese investment that will bring you away from American-dependence which will ulteriorly benefit you. b) Force to come to terms with Europe, forge a decent trade-deal, energy and overall political-economic pacts that will bring you back on track, as we currently need each other c) Sink and have Erdogan removed xd Personally, it's a pitty Turkey sank that fast

Someone melt a fuse..If you wish to run from "Imperialism" how about fortifying your national industries and strategic sectors and impose moderate protectionism like South Korea and ASEAN countries did back in the 50's and 60's in their wave of industrialization? Other than that, you shouldn't blame on others what the policies of your (sovereign) country were, afterall, Turkey basically tried to pull-off their diplomatic "influence", acting with their "back-covered" by new friends and try conflict at first with the EU & Germany and didn't get much, instead blackmailing on the refugee crisis, and then tried poking an unpredictible and blunt US President and failed badly. Now you're just suffering from the incompetence of your Government. But as I said, not everything is bad, you can now re-think your economy and Turkey's standing in the world, or be condemned to recession, because Erdogan will just use the "Western Conspiracy card" to ride the waves of propaganda and reinforce needless power.
I subscribe this in full.
Calling-out others on their nation's past history of nation-wide and committed war-crimes does not erase the long-history of athrocities and genocides committed by the Turkish and Ottoman State against the Armenians and other minorites (infact, there's currently an openly-declared hunt on the Kurds, labelled collectively as terrorists. It hurts less if you accept it, and stops you from further looking douchy.

You and Zephyrusu obviously didn't understand what we were talking, so no point replying about that. About Turkey and you supporting Zeph, no you're both wrong. West doesn't care for Turkish invasions as Turkey is part of NATO - western alliance, west doesn't give a damn about human life, rights or desires, it is cringey to see you still believe in that. Turkey is punished for showing free will to decide with whom to trade (Duofeng from China, S-400 from Russia, Turkish Stream with Russia, gold with Iran etc) - all Western enemies of World Order. West wants all members in line with current narrative as minions (or troops if you like), a unified front against rogue nations (rogue from western world order). Sigh... to think Turkey is punished for something their allies are doing for decades, and where both cooperated in multiple occasions

I was writing an actual, concrete, based and knowledgeful response to your communistic bias and my pc crashed for some reason. So I cba to actually try to idk, educate you or elucidate you that there's a world beyond the Red Square and Soviet distopias that plagued this world, but I've started to realize it really is pointless. You're too brainwashed, too biased and frankly too ignorantistic or close-minded to even start having that baseline-respect when debating (some) stuff, Lavrentiy Beria. You must have been a journalist for Pravda lol

There's no western-bias in what I've said, and there's certainly no neoliberalistic thought in my words, as I'm not one myself. You keep on spitting the same punchline words for months and years now, without further developing your line of thought or the maturity and logic of your arguments. The bias there can possibly be on this discussion and others is your stigma for everything that's foreign and the over-salutation of your own culture, in opposition to others.

Still funny. As i am mature enough to not change or 'develop' my line of thought as it is already very-well established years ago during development period of life. Unlike yours which still have to be developed as you are still a child who just entered another sphere of life (ie politics, history, debate). I don't know what's worse: the opinion you hold that you have to change from time to time thus constantly changing your point of view or the fact that westerners are thinking they are tolerant and emancipated while holding negative views about easterners and being oppressed by their governments, while invading east. Speaking about over-salutation and bias

If Afrin is any indicator, taking over Rojava would take a few years at the very least.
