So states across the globe will evaporate magically, peacefully and slowly? States fail violently. During the deterioration, the population is radicalised towards groups that seek their own path to power. It is NEVER a peaceful process.
Thread was vastly improved with actual dialogue of an on topic but off tangent discussion. Isis is the direct result of states failing. This is the result. People don't come together peacefully, holding hands singing Beatles songs. They are radicalised towards seeking power for their own interest. Usually justified by an ethnic or religious interest.
