Nah. I've been treated with such contempt my entire school career. Takes a lot more than cursing to offend me, as a result.

I just don't like dealing with people who can't remain civil, is all.

And going to war with a nation over fiscal policy is civil?

Yes, provided that all alternate reasonable routes of solving the issue have been tried. Which, given that bailout package that got rejected, I daresay might happen soon. The richer Eurozone states are rapidly running out of options.

Come to think of it, though, booting Greece from the Eurozone sounds a lot simpler than going to war. Lot cheaper too, come right down to it.

If there is a God, please help us.
Oh wait there is, and now it stands for Gold, Oil and Drugs. No hope there then. You seem fairly intelligent and interested in current affairs. Please please do proper research into this shit. Cheers

It's Gold, Oil, and Destitution (for the evil), but okay. I guess gold, oil, and drugs works.

My education has focused more on theory. I guess I really should read the news more often. Weekly checks of the Guardian to make sure my country's still at peace might not be enough.

You and I have some very different worldviews.

My opinion is that of judicial equality. If some system of morality or philosophy works a certain way once, it must work that way all the time or else it isn't fair. So theory is very useful.

Anyways, I'm off to sleep. Catch y'all tomorrow, I guess?

You're the personification of naivety. Who the heck still believes this world is fair anymore?? There's no such thing as equality, nor politically, judicially or economically. Idk where do you get this idea from and that's why I'm always gonna suggest you to inform yourself before trying to discuss about a matter you barely know about. Theory is only useful in school, real life has nothing to be with school.

Okey... you mentioned me so I feel the need to interrupt you for a second even though Sun tzu is doing perfectly fine without help XD

Yes, he is.

Написао RaulPB, 27.04.2015 at 10:33

First of all, I'm not irresponsable. I know what my responsabilities are and what consecuences bring determined actions. I'm no revolutionary guy unless you think that people which defend their own rights and condemn people which defraud their own country just for their own selfish self are revolutionary.

Well, you wrote up a long post denying the benefits of the free market. That sounds pretty irresponsibly radical to me. But that's a story for another day.

Написао RaulPB, 27.04.2015 at 10:33

I would never call you or anybody that tries to debate an imbecile though I do think you're too naive to be talking about this matter since you don't fully understand how this world works (from your words I can deduce that you still haven't watched that documentary I suggested you isn't that right??).

Just because I'm young...

What our family can produce without the open market is X. Our standard of living costs Y. As long as everything gets paid for, I do not care where the difference comes from. Why do I care who's skimming the margins? We're still fantastically wealthy.

Yeah. I still haven't watched that documentary, and now I can't. Give transcript!

Написао RaulPB, 27.04.2015 at 10:33

I think you need to inform yourself about how the greek debt was created, why was it created, what happened with it and who is responsable for it.

The government of Greece is fully responsible. I do not care how or why they decided to take out these loans. I also do not care who really benefitted from these loans. The simple reality is, they borrowed the money, so now they owe the money.

Написао RaulPB, 27.04.2015 at 10:33

Then, think again, how would a war, a cruent battle between people with weapons and brute force, help anyone learn about fiscal responsibility?? Specially considering that you don't really know who's the responsible for this debt.

Pay debts or be invaded sounds like a pretty good incentive to be fiscally responsible in the future.

Написао RaulPB, 27.04.2015 at 10:33

Ethically speaking, you're involving a whole country in a war, with all its people, innocent people who pay their high taxes for something they haven't done and aren't responsible for.

Really? If you're trying to tell me that an expanded Greek government spending and lower taxation doesn't benefit the Greek populace, I'm going to have to categorically reject that. Why do you think Athens is so up in arms about austerity?

Написао RaulPB, 27.04.2015 at 10:33

't you really think this people would accept some barbarian assault over their own land for a pathetic war reason which doesn't really involve them as the population of a country?

I seem to recall that the Greek government is elected by the Greek people. I also seem to recall that higher public spending and lower taxation was very popular among the Greeks. So... I'll have to say that the populace was pretty involved.

Написао RaulPB, 27.04.2015 at 10:33

They would fucking protest and defend themselves and their own interest as an independent country!

The creditor nations also has a right to defend their financial interests as a sovereign state.

Написао RaulPB, 27.04.2015 at 10:33

That would mean lots of injuries, deaths, jailing, etc. Now, with this in mind, tell me again, how many people would get involved in this non sense fight now?? And you kwno why? Cause of some greedy politicians, bankers and bussiness owners.

I dunno. EU has about 550 million people, so I guess the answer to that question will be around that ballpark.
The Greek government is elected. The people cannot claim that they are not responsible. Politicians are liable to be replaced. Bankers and business owners, when you come down to it, doesn't really have that many votes.

I denied the benefits of TODAY'S free market based on true facts. That's not radical, that's being critical, which you should learn to be before trying to debate. Also, where's the irresponsability in critizising something?? Don't you have a brain for something, except for having beautiful dreams where the world seems to be perfect??

I don't know your age but yeah, probably if you're too young you still are too naive to see all of what we're talking about.
If you don't care about crucial facts to determine what the reason for this debt is, then you do not deserve to have an opinion about what is the best solution. You can't discuss me this point. If you wanna give an opinion you need to be informed or else it's just like talking to a puppet.

Okey, so you know it's the government faults. That's a start. If it's the governments fault (they borrowed it and misused it), ask the government to give that money back or else you're not being fair, as you said you like to be.

Написао International, 28.04.2015 at 02:41

You talk about responsibilities at the same time that you're incentivising a war? That's hypocrite from you. We're talking about Europe, not some lost African tribe that doesn't know what diplomacy stands for or that doesn't know of the human rights. We're (supposedly) civilised people. We (supposedly) know about morality and ethics. You're just shitting on all this concepts created by our own selves. Fuck the ONU right?

Okey, you're being totally obnoxious. People are responsible for voting a certain political party. That's all. They are not their parents to be responsible for their behaviour, politicians are grownups with brain and their own intentions. Besides, you do realize not the 100% of the population actually voted the government right? Are you just gonna invade the people who actually voted them?? Pls, really, your argument is as stupid as it can be, reconsider your thoughts.

A simple example, you give X € to a bank, this guy misuses his money in a way he didn't say he would and loses your money and even more money that he didn't have. You chose to give him the money. Now, a judge declares him guilty for whatever misuse of the money he carried, are you gonna have to share his same sentence since you borrowed him the money???? According to your words, you should share jail with him. That's just some retarded logic.

Also, why the heck do you state that Greek population benefited from what some politicians robbed? I really don't understand why you affirm such things without previously knowing what the heck happened with that money. Be better informed pls, you really don't know much/anything about what happened there.

Написао International, 28.04.2015 at 02:41

Economic interest is not solved by war, are you nuts? This is the EU (Eurpean UNION)! Economic interests are solved politically and by negotiations! You're mixing physical aggression with non-physical aggression! That's too exceeding! I repeat: this is not the middle ages anymore! Take care of your thoughts or else you'll have a tough time through life unless you're freaking strong and powerful on your own.

Let's just say that 1 million injured people might be a low and optimistic number. That without expecting that this war could end in a European scale war.
They are ELECTED, not CONTROLLED by the voters!!! Unless you understand this, I will only keep laughing at your "argument". Yeah, it's laughable. Bankers don't have votes, non.

I didnt want to enter a debate with you international because not only your morals and values are worse than those of famous mass murderers, not only you are a fucking child (fact), but you do not even know THE BASICS about the subject you are discussing , all you do is spouting silly, idiotic and hatefull meaningless statements with zero substance and based on zero evidence or empirical knowledge, other than maybe watching once or twice your 8 o clock media stupefying propaganda, its journalists which, i could demolish in a debate in 5 minutes, if given the chance and im not even an economist or politician or historian, im just a bartender.

I will provide you with an answer though, for two reasons.
1. to educate you and others who are interested to learn and are too lazy to search themselves on this magical portal of information even my granpa can use, called the internet.
2. to destroy you and your kindergarden arguments and show YOU, just how ignorant and stupid you really are. Hopefully after this you will understand how dangerous people like you are and kill yourself.

HISTORY LESSON

The manipulation of Greek people by their leaders in cooperation with the foreign "creditors" goes back. Greece was under "debt occupation" ever since its creation.
* 1824- 770 millions in French currency, 300 million for the banks rest to army officials
* 1913- Greece was forced by good ol friend France to borrow 8 million in dollars, to pay for a land that was freed by the Greek army forces alone (thesaloniki-contantinople)
*after 1920s and after the Smyrna massacre in which subhuman kebabs slaughtered a million Greeks and stole our richest city, while our "allies" sit and watched, but were kind enough to loan us 992 millions in French currency to build up what they watched getting destroyed.
*early 1940s GERMANY having Athens under occupation, imposed on Greece the condition to feed and finance the fucking nazi army, from all surround areas. Greece under famine, couldnt keep sustaining them and so was FORCED to take a loan of 1,5 billions. The agreement for the loans was signed on March 14 1942 by Germany and Italy, Greece wasnt even included. TOTALLY FAIR RIGHT? YEAH. YOU DONT HEAR THAT IN YOUR NEWS DO YOU FUCKING KIDS?

Greece asked for its repayment in all the three international conferences that followed Germanies defeat and again at 1964, 1965, 1966, 1974, 1991, 1995 including war reperations. Germany has consistently rejected the Greek demands for justice, with arguments of NO LEGAL OR LOGICAL SUBSTANCE, their final being that the claim has become redundant after 50 years. FUNNY, since Grece has been consistently rasing the issue since 1945. Funny also since the imposition of the said loan was against Article 49 of the Hague Convention (1909) which is STILL IN FORCE TODAY.
WHO IS THE FUCKING THIEF NOW. WHO OWES MONEY WHO. WHY YOU KNOW ABOUT GREEK DEBT BUT YOU DONT KNOW ABOUT GERMANIES DEBT TO GREECE. ANSWER ME IGNORANT, UNINFORMED, BRAINLESS, IMBECILE. YOU KNOW FUCKING SHIT AND YOU DEMAND GERMANY INVADE GREECE IN 2015? GO DIE IN A HOLE WITH YOUR PLAYMOBILS.

Greece, in 2015, still has NEVER beencompensated for Germany's war crimes and cultural treasures stolen. Yet i have to listen to the cunt Merkel and an army of ignorant sheep, telling me im lazy and i owe them money. Fuck that shit and FUCK YOU.

THE BEGGINING

Andreas Papandreou (1919-1996) was the President who started the whole plan. His grandfather was a Jew and he went to Usa, completed all his studies there and married an American Jew. He was funded in 1974 by the bank of Rockefeller with 100,000,000 dollars for the construction of the ever ruling PASOK political party and offcourse was elected prime minister of Greece in 1981.

Thats not a conspiracy theory, its public knowledge.Heres the contract.

After he became prime minister, he destroyed Greece, im not gonna go in to depth how, but the result was he borrowed money and created a debt of over 100 billion rendering Greece captive to the banks with no hope of returning the money since he destroyed all forms of healthy revenue.
The governments that followed, always in cooperation with the private banks that supported them, continued the destruction and selling of Greece through the same system of loans and always WITHOUT the Greeks' knowledge and consent.
USA was "inside" the Greece government ship through its journey to destruction, every step of the way. Again its not a conspiracy theory, when the hypothesis is supported by facts and evidence.

Greece government in 1998 creates the Public Debt Management Agency, manager of which, is no other but a GOLDMAN SACHS employee, Peter Christodoulou. Three years later the government "hires" ( 300 million) GOLDMAN SACHS, officially, to hide a loan of 1 billion, so Greece could enter the European Union. You think GERMANY DIDNT KNOW THAT ? LOL. They ALL knew Greece was red flagged with RISK written all over it. They never cared anyway. They were happy to let a dangerous country in, which would most probably rquire financial help in the future. Why wouldnt they? They would enjoy the interests and get money on top, from all their exports, cars, weapons, electronics and so on. They could also use its geopolitical position and get grabs on islands and natural resources, in which Greece is rich in, but they keep that in the low offcourse.

So remember the first President, the Usa agent? His son, George Papandreou was the Prime minister of Greece, who first asked for the bailout in 2009 and started this WHOLE THING. Coinsidence? No. Especially if you think that Greece deficit at the time was at 12-13% of the GDP and he had numerous ways to easily and immediately drop it to under 10%. Instead he started the meetings with Merkel and as several of ELSTAT staff (who got fired afterwards) publically confirmed, ELSTAT intentionally, and after being pressured by Eurostat (the EU's tame body), inflated the 2009 revised deficit from roughly 12-13% to 15.8% using "non-scientific" methods in order to justify the adoption of more and tougher fiscal measures in Greece. Berlin wanted to loan Greece. Berlin didnt want to save Greece. Everybody fucking knows.

Spanish European Commissioner Amann, also supported this and publicly claimed that if his warnings had been enacted, the measures woulf have succeded and a bailout wouldnt be needed.

The unholy alliance of Greece and Germany governments, in short, at the time, rejected all other options and proceeded on this dwstructive plan with the bailouts. Even after numerous good options and suggestions. Even Roland Berger company, by far the biggest management consultancy in Germany, offered a way to reduce Greek debt from 145% to 88% of GDP. Merkel rejected it. It was obvious to anyone that had a smaller deficit in 2009 and a sale of assets to Brussels rather than a depressed open market in 2011 gone forward, Greece would've got back a great deal of its independent sovereignty and access to the markets. Isnt it suspicious German and Greek governments together, made all the wrong decisions? Isnt it suspicious how Papandreou,Merkel, Soible, Brussels and Lagarde have done everything in their power to reduce the chances of Greece retaining its independence?

Isnit it also idiotic, that an economic genius like Germany decides to loan Greece, with ZERO guarantees, that Greece will be able to repay its debt? Why isnt the blame or at least a big portion of tit, shifts to the rightfull direction? The lender? Why is it that all economic insitutions, like banks, work that way, but Germany didnt and loaned money, Greece most probably wouldnt be able to pay back?

REST QUESTIONS

Germany is helping yuo Greece

-Germany made 45 billion on loan interest alone since 2009. Thanks for helping us Germonie you are so kind.

Greeks are lazy and no pay debts

-Greeks came in second to South Koreans in average hours worked, the common Greek also had the lowest average personal debt in the EU, and average retirement was 61 (now it is 67)

Greece is corrupted

- Under numerous big scale corruption cases, a German company is behind, in so many of them. When Soible was asked by a Greek journalist in front of the cameras he replied " Greece should look at its own yard and not concer itself with ours". Excuse me i thought those yards were connected since they were working together under your nose Mr Soible. My bad.

European taxpayers I cry

The first 50 billion aside, the EFSF raised rest of the money by issuing bonds, so the "European taxpayer" only has a liability in the event of default of any of the fund's investments

Greeks living the life with my money aka im a subhuman, uneducated troll

only 11 percent of the 226.7 billion euros received by Athens has gone towards the government's cash needs and covering the primary deficit, which no longer exists as of 2013

Greece isnt doing anything to fix its situation, it has no fiscal responsibility, austerity measures are not harsH enough LETS INVADE IT

It is a mystery why anyone would consider that Greece has not done enough on the fiscal consolidation front. Oh wait its no mystery after all. BECAUSE YOU ARE AN IGNORANT SHEEP. Unless, of course, you believe that there is a magic way to close a primary deficit of 10 percent of GDP (25 billion euros) other than to slash spending and raise revenue to wipe out this primary deficit in 2009 and reach a primary surplus of around 2.5 billion euros in 2014, three successive Greek governments had to take measures exceding 30 percent of GDP.

At 2009 public sector wage bill was of 30.7 billion euros, almost 13 percent of GDP. In 2013, that same wage bill did not exceed 21.8 billion euros, representing a 29 percent reduction in just four years.

YES GREECE IS CLEARLY DOING NOTHING.

Social benefits in 2009 had risen to 49.1 billion euros from 36 billions in 2006. This was brought down to 38.4 billion in four years, a 27 percent reduction.

Not to mention how difficult all of this is, if you take into account the ridiculous and subhuman austerity measures that are destroying the country. And are responsible for a continuous reduction in revenues also, as people were losing jobs by the thousand each month.

The subhuman orcs of troika decided in 2012 to push down the minimum wage by 22 percent as part of the internal devaluation process. This reduced wages in all private companies wage decisions which used the minimum wage as a standard. In turn, this sucked tax revenues and social insurance contributions out of the system. Big surprise. These guys are jeniuses.
Contributions dropped from 30.7 billion in 2008 to just 24.3 billion euros in 2013, down 21 percent. At the same time, taxes on income were reduced to 18.7 billions in 2013 from 20.2 in 2009 in spite of the repeated revenue-raising measures that the governments introduced.
Given the magnitude of the effort and that the task was undertaken in an environment where so much of the economic activity disappeared while the labour force was also being shot in the head, it is ridiculous to suggest that there was something lacking in the fiscal consolidation effort.

After all, the TROIKA AND THE GERMANS had full control of the program and exercised their full authority.

The plan for Greece is working

Great plan. Sky-high unemployment, frozen growth, the cancer of business closures and a rise in suicides.

But exports are rising

The Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) shows that Greek exports fell by 1.4 percent in one year.
What is striking is that the report of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development published in 2013, found Greek exports were being held back in most by some of the policies the TROIKA itself implemented.THATS RIGHT.THE PLAN IS NOT WORKING BECAUSE IT WAS NEVER INTENDED TO WORK. ITS A FUCKING SCAM.

BOTTOM LINE

From 1994 to 2010 Greece has paid back 571 000 000 000 for loans. The Greek people have been paying back 200 times the value of loans, some of which the country never got, or at least not in full, and some were forcefully imposed,
YET SKITZ SAYS GREECE PAY DEBTS.

Greece owes less money than Norway, Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, USA, Japan, UK, Spain, France, YET INTERNATIONAL THINKS GREECE LACKS FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY WHILE OTHERS ARE FINE.

Goldman Sacks, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, and others of less power, won billions at the expense of Greek people, YET GREEK PEOPLE ARE TO BLAME OFFCOURSE. SUREAL.

Greece has abided by its bailout commitments.

Fiscal targets have been met and reforms legislated.

THE EUROZONE PARTNERS ARE THE ONES WHO FAILED TO LIVE UP TO THEIR COMMITMENTS.AS ALWAYS.

YET, INTERNATIONAL, SKITZ AND OTHER STUPID DRONES WOULDNT KNOW, BECAUSE THEY ARE UNINFORMED BRAINWASHED PIECES OF SHIT.

WE ARE GETTING FUCKED IN THE ASS FOR 200 YEARS AND YET YOU DEMAND MILITARY INVASION AGAINST MY COUNTRY.

IF I EVER SEE YOU IN REAL LIFE I WILL GOUGE YOUR EYES OUT WITH MY OWN HANDS AND MAKE YOU EAT THEM.

I denied the benefits of TODAY'S free market based on true facts. That's not radical, that's being critical, which you should learn to be before trying to debate. Also, where's the irresponsability in critizising something?? Don't you have a brain for something, except for having beautiful dreams where the world seems to be perfect??

In all economic and political schemes tried in history, the laissez-faire free market has demonstrated itself to be the best at producing economic growth. It has a few problems, extreme poverty and the occasional depression being a couple examples, which is why we have social-democratic policies. You say that today's free market has a lot of problems. I fully agree. It is quite horrible. But I really want to ask you, what alternative do you propose that isn't even worse?

Написао RaulPB, 28.04.2015 at 09:17

I don't know your age but yeah, probably if you're too young you still are too naive to see all of what we're talking about.

Maybe. But isn't that why we're having this debate in the first place? To find out whether I'm being naive or whether you're being radical?

Написао RaulPB, 28.04.2015 at 09:17

If you don't care about crucial facts to determine what the reason for this debt is, then you do not deserve to have an opinion about what is the best solution. You can't discuss me this point. If you wanna give an opinion you need to be informed or else it's just like talking to a puppet.

Let me rephrase my position. Evidently I'm being unclear. My family can produce a certain set of goods and services. My family currently consumes and probably will keep consuming a larger set of goods and services. Whatever or whoever it is that makes up the difference is, from our perspective, good. Regardless of what or who it is.

Написао RaulPB, 28.04.2015 at 09:17

Should I send you a link to the documentary through PM?

A transcript or an article that I can read would be good. Can't listen to anything off the computer right now.

Написао RaulPB, 28.04.2015 at 09:17

Okey, so you know it's the government faults. That's a start. If it's the governments fault (they borrowed it and misused it), ask the government to give that money back or else you're not being fair, as you said you like to be.

I fully agree. The Government of Greece needs to pay back that money.

Написао RaulPB, 28.04.2015 at 09:17

You talk about responsibilities at the same time that you're incentivising a war? That's hypocrite from you.

War is not fundamentally irresponsible. I really don't feel like debating Kantian versus utilitarian ethics right now, so let's just say that I believe that nothing is fundamentally good or bad - it's the results that count.

Написао RaulPB, 28.04.2015 at 09:17

We're talking about Europe, not some lost African tribe that doesn't know what diplomacy stands for or that doesn't know of the human rights. We're (supposedly) civilised people. We (supposedly) know about morality and ethics. You're just shitting on all this concepts created by our own selves. Fuck the ONU right?

There is also this concept called a just war. As I understand it, if
1. a legitimate national authority has a genuine grievance against another legitimate national authority (which it, in this case, does)
2. all possible peaceful avenues of producing a mutually satisfactory solution has been exhausted (not yet, but probably soon)
3. the war is declared with a reasonable chance of successfully accomplishing the stated objective (Greece is not a superpower, so this is true) and
4. the peace which the aggressor is trying to accomplish is better than the peace which would have existed if the war wasn't fought (arguably also true),
then a war can legitimately be declared.

I am not trying to say that war would be beneficial. Sun Tzu managed to argue me out of that position. What I am saying is that Germany would be justified in declaring war, should they choose to exercise that costly option.

Написао RaulPB, 28.04.2015 at 09:17

Okey, you're being totally obnoxious. People are responsible for voting a certain political party. That's all. They are not their parents to be responsible for their behaviour, politicians are grownups with brain and their own intentions. Besides, you do realize not the 100% of the population actually voted the government right? Are you just gonna invade the people who actually voted them?? Pls, really, your argument is as stupid as it can be, reconsider your thoughts.

In a democracy, people are responsible for voting for the politicians that promise them policies that they like. Thus, unless a politician's promises and his or her actual policies differ dramatically (say, a socialist politician deregulating industry), the voting populace is responsible for the policies of the government's actions. It's of course not ideal that people that voted against the current government are also held responsible, but such is democracy. Democracy is not utopia, contrary to popular belief. It has its problems.

Написао RaulPB, 28.04.2015 at 09:17

A simple example, you give X € to a bank, this guy misuses his money in a way he didn't say he would and loses your money and even more money that he didn't have. You chose to give him the money. Now, a judge declares him guilty for whatever misuse of the money he carried, are you gonna have to share his same sentence since you borrowed him the money???? According to your words, you should share jail with him. That's just some retarded logic.

I will have to disagree with that analogy. The Greek Government has a legal right to tax its populace. If a debtor has a right to collect taxes from a creditor, I haven't heard of it.

Написао RaulPB, 28.04.2015 at 09:17

Also, why the heck do you state that Greek population benefited from what some politicians robbed? I really don't understand why you affirm such things without previously knowing what the heck happened with that money. Be better informed pls, you really don't know much/anything about what happened there.

Then why, exactly, is Athens so up in arms about austerity? If public spending is just politicians robbing money, then Athens shouldn't care by how much public spending is cut.

Написао RaulPB, 28.04.2015 at 09:17

Economic interest is not solved by war, are you nuts? This is the EU (Eurpean UNION)! Economic interests are solved politically and by negotiations! You're mixing physical aggression with non-physical aggression! That's too exceeding! I repeat: this is not the middle ages anymore! Take care of your thoughts or else you'll have a tough time through life unless you're freaking strong and powerful on your own.

It does not matter whether the national interest was economic, political, or something else. If a country has suffered a grievance from another, and the dispute cannot be settled peacefully, then obviously it can only be settled by war. The alternative is one country having to just accept the wrongdoings of the other.

Написао RaulPB, 28.04.2015 at 09:17

Let's just say that 1 million injured people might be a low and optimistic number. That without expecting that this war could end in a European scale war.

1 million injured in a war between Greece and the rest of the European Union sounds like a high and pessimistic number. Unless somebody starts violating the Hague and Geneva Conventions, that is, which would be very contrary to the principles of a justified war.

Написао RaulPB, 28.04.2015 at 09:17

They are ELECTED, not CONTROLLED by the voters!!! Unless you understand this, I will only keep laughing at your "argument". Yeah, it's laughable. Bankers don't have votes, non.

Election is a form of control. "Do what we want or be replaced" is definitely a form of control. The voters have a tremendous amount of power over any democratic government. If they're too lazy/ignorant/whatever to exercise that power properly, that is their problem and no-one else's

Написао Khal.eesi, 28.04.2015 at 16:36
Coinsidence?

I am going to demand evidence here. "Non-scientific" methods such as?

Написао Khal.eesi, 28.04.2015 at 16:36

Spanish European Commissioner Amann, also supported this and publicly claimed that if his warnings had been enacted, the measures woulf have succeded and a bailout wouldnt be needed.

The Greek government didn't. Ergo, a bailout was needed.

Написао Khal.eesi, 28.04.2015 at 16:36

Perhaps next time stop electing governments that sell out your country.

Написао Khal.eesi, 28.04.2015 at 16:36

-Germany made 45 billion on loan interest alone since 2009. Thanks for helping us Germonie you are so kind.

It's called opportunity cost. You take loans, you pay interest.

Написао Khal.eesi, 28.04.2015 at 16:36

-Greeks came in second to South Koreans in average hours worked, the common Greek also had the lowest average personal debt in the EU, and average retirement was 61 (now it is 67)

Average hours worked does not define a country's economic potential. South Koreans work ridiculously long hours, but if they're particularly productive, I somehow haven't heard about it.

Написао Khal.eesi, 28.04.2015 at 16:36

- Under numerous big scale corruption cases, a German company is behind, in so many of them. When Soible was asked by a Greek journalist in front of the cameras he replied " Greece should look at its own yard and not concer itself with ours". Excuse me i thought those yards were connected since they were working together under your nose Mr Soible. My bad.

Maybe stop electing corrupt politicians?

Написао Khal.eesi, 28.04.2015 at 16:36

The first 50 billion aside, the EFSF raised rest of the money by issuing bonds, so the "European taxpayer" only has a liability in the event of default of any of the fund's investments

I don't dispute this point.

Написао Khal.eesi, 28.04.2015 at 16:36

only 11 percent of the 226.7 billion euros received by Athens has gone towards the government's cash needs and covering the primary deficit, which no longer exists as of 2013

Again, if a democratic government is incompetent, the fault partially lies in the voters.

Написао Khal.eesi, 28.04.2015 at 16:36

Big problems call for big solutions. As you say yourself, no easy way to close a 10% GDP deficit gap. It's not anyone's responsibility except the Greek government's to care about how hard it's going to be.

Написао Khal.eesi, 28.04.2015 at 16:36

Social benefits in 2009 had risen to 49.1 billion euros from 36 billions in 2006. This was brought down to 38.4 billion in four years, a 27 percent reduction.

So it's still above 2006 levels. Cry me a river.

Написао Khal.eesi, 28.04.2015 at 16:36

Not to mention how difficult all of this is, if you take into account the ridiculous and subhuman austerity measures that are destroying the country. And are responsible for a continuous reduction in revenues also, as people were losing jobs by the thousand each month.

Whether austerity is good or bad is irrelevant. It must be done if the creditors expect to collect on their debt, which they ought to be able to.
Don't like it? Default. That's always an option.

Написао Khal.eesi, 28.04.2015 at 16:36

See above.

Great plan. Sky-high unemployment, frozen growth, the cancer of business closures and a rise in suicides.

Congratulations. The government isn't pumping money into the private sector anymore. That sort of things tend to happen.

Написао Khal.eesi, 28.04.2015 at 16:36

The Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) shows that Greek exports fell by 1.4 percent in one year.
What is striking is that the report of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development published in 2013, found Greek exports were being held back in most by some of the policies the TROIKA itself implemented.THATS RIGHT.THE PLAN IS NOT WORKING BECAUSE IT WAS NEVER INTENDED TO WORK. ITS A FUCKING SCAM.

I don't dispute this point.

Написао Khal.eesi, 28.04.2015 at 16:36

Greece owes less money than Norway, Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, USA, Japan, UK, Spain, France, YET INTERNATIONAL THINKS GREECE LACKS FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY WHILE OTHERS ARE FINE.

The Netherlands' 10 year bond interest rate is lower than that of Greece. That means those investors with big piles of money trust the Netherlands' government to pay their money back then they do the Greek one.

If the investors are that confident, I'm not going to dispute them.

Написао Khal.eesi, 28.04.2015 at 16:36

Goldman Sacks, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, and others of less power, won billions at the expense of Greek people, YET GREEK PEOPLE ARE TO BLAME OFFCOURSE. SUREAL.

Of course! Who elects the Greek government?

Написао Khal.eesi, 28.04.2015 at 16:36

WE ARE GETTING FUCKED IN THE ASS FOR 200 YEARS AND YET YOU DEMAND MILITARY INVASION AGAINST MY COUNTRY.

So has Poland. So has South Korea. If they're crying about how unfair the world is, I somehow haven't heard it.

After all your rants about how I'm a unethical piece of junk? Interesting... I guess a tendency to resort to violence at opposition is a shared trait for all humans.
