As stated above... so many people in atWar play war games and think it's funny to promote pro-totalitarian messaging. They have never experienced a tyrannical regime- they don't even remember a world pre 9/11 without government surveillance and airport security. I hope they are just trolling because history usually repeats itself in 3 steps:
1) The elderly who experienced the tyranny and are staunch opponents to censorship and government control.
2) Their children who heard their parents' horror stories and are convinced that free-values need to be upheld.
3) Their grandchildren have little to no first- hand knowledge of events that lead to tyranny and are ignorant to it happening again.
No, USA is not a free country. Yes, the Western world is moving eerily closer to a technocratic tyranny. But supporting and defending USSR genocide during the 1930s is only helping our governments justify what's going on today.
