Stop recruiting low ranks if you won't train them

I am tired of asking for a cw and the officer/leader telling me "we don't have online members" and when ask them "hey, why u don't use X or Y player, they are online" they reply with: "We don't know if X and Y player know how to play"

jeez, if u can't train them, don't recruit them. they could be in a decent training clan like Bactria, Illyrification or Otpisani.

Are you trying to say that is ok for shitty clans like winterfell to invite thousands of low ranks, just to make their clan look active? while other clans like Bactria give them the opportunity to cw and practice everyday?

No-competitive clans die faster than competitive clans, and that's a fact.

Winterfell is not gonna get any better anytime soon, they have lost their momentum a long time ago. For them to get better they need a flow of good players from outside to help them train.

These are both concepts that you have failed to define. An Active member, in my book, is the guy who checks in at least every other week.
"lasting" - this implies that there is an idea or cause that remains facilitated by the individual/their group. What that is can only be determined by the individual/group.
Inglorious Basterds could easily fill this position. Although bare in mind that you did set a "lasting" limit of 2 years. AtWar has been around since like 2010? so out of 4 years you basically have to have existed for half of AtWar's existence in order to be considered legitimate? Because we are arguing legitimacy, name "competitive" clan that has existed for more than 2 years with more than 50% of active members lol.

but it is not the main reason: it is among several.

Tunder is right here, while Clans are for more than just CWs, the players and clans he was referring to are in CW clans. Of course you can be in a clan and not CW, but when you are in a clan with the sole purpose to train and CW, you should know how to do that, or at least be training, not just sitting there wasting other clans times who ask for CW, and assume that those low ranks can match their low ranks. Btw, Tunder's low ranks arent that good either, so they dont have to be as good as the best players in the clan, but dont recruit low ranks then do nothing, it doesnt improve them.

I agree but lets be real here, there will always be an endless supply of noobs waiting to be picked up and trained. One clan may have a thousand but there will always be a thousand more.

Clans can do whatever they want, but if they want to be among the big boys they are gonna have to start acting as such. This involves training all the members that you recruit, its such a shame when big "competitive" clans are composed of 95% RP players, and only 5% of them play CWs

please take your time to read the main post, i am talking about Competitive clans that don't teach their low ranks how to play, i don't care about non-competitive clans, i have made this very clear before, but seems like you jumped into the "Bash this topic" bandwagon when i was telling colummna durruti the importance of clans. I never stated that ALL clans must train their low ranks, only COMPETITIVE clans. non-competitive clans don't cw so they aren't part of this isolated problem.

I would just like to add one little point... I know that noobs should be trained and i'm the first person to worry about that stuff! But who tells you that a noobs might want to be trained?? Did u even read what i said? Did you? Don't recruit low ranks if you are not gonna train them.

This problem not only affects me, because i can't get cws, but also affects the Unlucky dude that joins a clan for first time ever, and doesn't get train and can't cw, then he thinks all other competitive clans are just the same... A glorified group of elitists represented by only ranks 10.

Then he becomes a mid high rank, and gets kicked out of competitive games because he is not good enough.

Now i did , but yet again that's my point people dont read most of clns turned to a chat clns nth more nth less but yet low ranks joins them bec he didnt ask the leaders what type of cln is , most of the clns" including my cln VS" wont CW till it get fixed or turned into a leauge sys .. But Amok wont do any new updates till he finish HTML5 .... "august is over btw amok" .. But he is lazy...

We need more training clans! My clan has trained rank 5 and 6 players, but they can't play because just JNA trains new members in atwar. I can't let them play with ranks 10-11-12.. High ranks will rape them and they'll lose will to play.

Also, I have problem to find cw for ranks 8 and especially 7, but they can play with 9 and 10.

Open games for all ranks (5-15 minimum) or we'll lose good new players..

Shadows Shadow was really good training clan and we have good low ranks from there, maybe the best on the server..
