A United Nations court sentenced former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic to 40 years in prison for genocide, persecution as a crime against humanity,extermination as a crime against humanity, murder as a crime against humanity, murder as a violation of the laws or customs of war , deportation as a crime against humanity, inhumane acts, forcible transfer as a crime against humanity, spreading terror as a violation of the laws or customs of war, unlawful attacks on civilians as a violation of the laws or customs of war and hostage-taking as a violation of the laws or customs of war. ALL CRIMES HE COMMITED WERE AGAINST BOSNIAKS/BOSNIAN MUSLIMS
Considering that he has 70 years,this is lifelong sentence.

Only death punishment is acceptable for this monstrum, but 40 years also makes me satisfied, especially by knowing the face he is already 71 years old.

This guy deserves the death penalty which is a shame that all the EU countries are against it. At least he most likely gets life in prison, but I don't understand why it was 40 and not a life sentence flat out.

Hague Court is artificial creation as there is legal one in Strasbourg, so that mean his imprison and sentence is also illegal and insignificant. According to international law hague is not taken seriously, only strasbourg court. There are no documents or affirmations for creation of hague court in the Netherlands while International Community agreed to open one in Strasbourg long ago for such issues.

This guy is the victim of some power which want to get rid of generals and politicans creating states and armies not suiting them most likely. For example, it can be America as America undermined Yugoslavia since Reagan, so maybe they funded and created such court to get rid of leaders with anti-west views.

They failed judges,but you are not even failed judge,well that may explain why you defending all war criminals.

The eighteen judges of the International Criminal Court (ICC) are elected for nine-year terms by the member-countries of the court.[1] Candidates must be nationals of those countries and they must "possess the qualifications required in their respective States for appointment to the highest judicial offices".

First of all, let me just say it's embarrasing that Tito is actually accusing these judges of being a failure. They are appointed/elected from their countries of origins, and following this process, I'm sure they must be very qualified judges for such a high judicial office like the International Court (even if it's not the real one, but the Strasbourg one, so I accept their verdict and take it as certain.

Second of all, I disagree with this sentence. For such a criminal that committed crimes against Humanity, Death Penalty should be given to those convicts, this is why I disagree with EU policy on this. There should be death penalty on exception cases like this.
I'm glad a monster like this guy, who committed atrocities in the name of his country was sentenced to a lifelong sentence, but once again, this raises a question:

One hundred times those judges used the word 'allegedly' when bringing up evidences and proofs about his crimes, none of them in details and deep analysis. So how can sane person claim anything after that? He cannot even get to the point to say he is a monster or whatsoever, we still didn't get all the evidences. That was a show trial, made by great powers to suit their geopolitical agenda. Just the difference is public won't see it coming when it happen in Africa, Asia or South America, but because it is in Europe, it brings attention, so you need something to cover up and make it look legal.

In the eyes of the law, he is still suspect, and innocent until proved otherwise. Every judge and lawyer see it and respect that rule.

That girl is just one of many.
I know for a story of mother whose daughter turned 2 on July 9,1995 in Srebrenica. On July 11 her throat was cut by one of "brave" serb heroes.
Or a little boy who was born on July 11, 1995-day he was born,he was killed.

Well, after i read indictment his only crime is he sieged bosnian capital from the start of the war. And that city was half serbian so he technically only barricaded it from troops coming outside.

Ex US agent filmed NATO air transports dropping munition to Tuzla(turk muslim occupied) airport. And that only mean prolonging the war instead stabilizing the region. And if rumors are true that USA created Al-Qaeda, that mean they transfered them to Bosnia during the war, which only means escalation of conflict, you can hardly blame the Serbs for that.

During the siege 11.541 victims died,over 1.600 were children.
On average on Sarajevo felt 329 mortars,infamous record was 3.777 mortars on 22. july 1993.
